PLEASANT HILL — CALIFORNIA58 LOCAL. Pleasant Hill’s Civic Action Commission is accepting band applications for the city’s 2027 Sunset by the Lake Summer Concert Series. The deadline for applications is November 17, 2026.

What residents should know

The city says the free community concert program is planned to return to the City Hall area in May 2027. Organizers are seeking groups with an engaging, family-friendly live music experience and prefer local bands.

Prospective performers should review the city’s application for required material, fees and performance conditions. The city notes that artist fees do not include travel expenses, a significant consideration for bands based outside the area.

Submitting a proposal does not guarantee selection. Pleasant Hill has not announced a final 2027 lineup in the application notice, and concert schedules will be set later.

Questions may be directed to the city’s communications contact, communications@phillca.gov.
