PLEASANT HILL — November 4, 2026. The City Council election in Pleasant Hill’s District 4 shows Sue Noack ahead of Quy Tran in the county’s preliminary report. The current figures are 1,297 votes (60.0%) for Noack and 863 (39.9%) for Tran, a difference of 434 votes.

District 4 is not the whole city

These votes belong to one designated municipal council district. The figures should not be interpreted as a citywide election of the mayor or as a vote by every Pleasant Hill resident. Correctly identifying the district matters when discussing who will represent local neighborhoods on future city council decisions.

Counting continues

The results were posted in the reporting snapshot updated early on November 4 and remain unofficial. Contra Costa County can add further valid ballots during its canvass. No candidate should be described as having a certified election victory on the strength of this snapshot alone.

City residents can use the county election reports to compare later vote totals with the early figures given here.
