PLEASANT HILL — CALIFORNIA58 LOCAL. Pleasant Hill has scheduled its annual Light Up the Night holiday celebration for Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in downtown Pleasant Hill. The city advertises free admission and an evening of family-focused festivities.

What residents should know

The scheduled tree lighting is at 5:30 p.m. near Jack’s. The event program also includes arts and crafts, hot chocolate and coffee, dancers, caroling, Santa visits and a holiday train.

Main-stage entertainment is advertised from 4:30 to 7 p.m., with additional activities on a children’s stage. A fire-dance performance is separately listed for 7:10 p.m. on Crescent Drive.

Families should consult the city’s event page for parking and accessible routes. Free event admission does not mean every downtown restaurant or retailer is giving away food or merchandise.

The program and times are scheduled in advance and can change with weather, staffing or public-safety conditions.
